Its 810pm and I have enjoyed the most fabulous evening of watching little people (some big people) come to my door trick or treating!!  There is laughter, joy and much celebration in each dressed up child’s face as they do what is required to gain a treat.  Dress up, knock and yell trick or treat!

When I close the door I can hear them screaming to get to the next house so they can have more and more and more candy!!    It is the simple action of saying 3 words, or knocking and the effort of putting on a costume that brings back to the child this great reward!!  SWEETS….lots and lots of SWEETS!!  The more the better it seems!!   Although, sometimes when they get home they find when sorting that the quantity doesn’t seem to matter as much as if its the stuff they like to eat.   You know….I can relate..who wants to carry around 20lbs of candy and find out that only 5lbs is want you want to eat.

Felt that there is interesting life lessons to learn with Halloween….candy….trick or treaters….

1)  Know what to say, and put in a little bit of effort and you will receive a reward

2) Have fun and scream and celebrate every reward you receive in life!!  Life is a grand celebration!!

3) The quality of the stuff you are carrying around is important.  Time and effort is spent carrying weight.  Focus on the quality in your life, lighten your load…you will feel lighter and have more time to spend on the things you want to spend it on!

Happy Halloween!!!!!  YEAHHHHHHHHh!!!  Celebrate!!!!!

Until next time…..
